Virtual Toolkit & FAQ

What is the Virtual Cannon Blast 5K and how does it work?

The Virtual Cannon Blast 5K is your chance to participate in the Cannon Blast 5K if you cannot make it to Nationwide Arena on Sept. 25 or are not yet ready to run with a big crowd.

The rules for the Virtual Cannon Blast 5K are simple. Sign up for the event and run your 5K anywhere at anytime between Saturday, Sept. 25 and Monday, Sept. 27. Then upload your results and download your Finisher's Certificate (see below for more information).

How / When do I get my packet?

All event packets will be mailed to the address provided during registration the week of Sept. 20. Be sure to register before September 20 to ensure your packet reaches you in time for the Virtual Cannon Blast 5K on Sept. 25.  Participants who register after Sept. 20 will still be mailed a packet, but it may arrive by Sept. 25.

What do I do when I finish my run / walk?

Once you have finished your virtual run you can log in to your EnMotive account beginning Sept 25 and log your results. After you have logged your results you will be able to upload photos to share your experience with other runners and view and download your Finisher's Certificate. Can't finish your 5K by Monday, Sept. 27? That's okay! Runners can log their results and download a Finisher's Certificate through Oct. 25. Check out how you stack up against other runners by viewing the race results page.

How do I log my results & get my Finisher's Certificate?

The race will be available for upload of results and photos beginning Saturday, Sept. 25.

  1. Visit the results page.
  2. Search for your name and click it
  3. Click ‘Submit Results’ and submit your time
  4. Once your time is submitted, click ‘View Post-Race Experience’ to go back to your personal results page to download your finisher certificate and upload photos

Do I need to submit results to get a medal?

No. Your medal will be mailed to you with your packet. However, once once you complete your run, you can Log Your Results and complete other post-race experience actions, like download your personalized Finisher's Certificate, see how you rank on the leaderboard of other participants, and upload your photos, crop and add filters, and add a Virtual Cannon Blast 5K overlay to share on social and show off your well-earned medal! (Posting your results and uploading photos is optional)
